very interesting, deformed wolf shot in Russia

It amazes me how this wolf even lived to adulthood.
These are the only pictures I've found. What an interesting mount this critter would make.

This is the result of inbreeding.  Wolves breed with liter mates because they live with them.  In a couple generations you start seeing all sorts of deformities.  If they had our fine wolf loving greenies crowd they would be screaming the need for genetic diversity.
