Thank you for al the reply's. He has the North Spokane tag too. Hopefully he'll be able to fill that one and make up a little ground.

Looks like a great eating doe. Nice work on the first deer too. It makes things easier I hope. I know how much effort we put into my sons first turkey.....exhausting. Congrats to both of you, hope your back is feeling better .

Nick connected with his second deer last night. Not much of a story. We were hunting a friends farm. We snuck up to one of the fields and when we got there, we had five or six does and at least.one little buck in front of us. Nick proned out and made a 100yd shot on one of the does. She went about sixty yards and went down. Didn't quite have the emotions as the first time. Apparently he is a seasoned hunter now.

Thank you. We are lucky if we get two in a regular season. This was an exceptional year for us. No big bucks but we consider every deer a trophy. It was great to meet you too. I'm sorry I didn't have more time to help you guys out. Hopefully we can hook up in the future and get some hunting in. Am I safe in assuming you guys didn't make it back this weekend?

We did not make it back. Sure wish we could have with the cold weather. Kids were battling the sniffles and hockey season started, so just did not make it back. Was glad to get Molly out for her first hunt with a rifle, she enjoyed it very much. Hard to see her grow up so fast!  We would be glad to hunt with you again in the future.
