I got up early and fed the cows and opened up the door on the chicken coop...They just looked at me like "we aren't going out in this weather".  At that point I realized I might
as well stay inside this morning. I didn't see a single goose or duck from the comfort of my house this morning!

slow for us too. ended up getting 2 mallards and called it a day at 0920. We had a few other groups work but flared from shots on neighboring ponds, oh well

by potholes. The flight seemed slow and it was snowing a decent amount. We had some widgeon working the decoys at 7:03, they tried to set in 2 different times on three passes. Theres nothing you can really do about other people shooting, it happens

All I got this morning was a drake wigeon. Also shot a hen mallard but I wasn't able to retrieve it, boy I was pissed.

We got seven geese yesterday and limited today by 9:00. Lots of geese this A.M. but once snow started they quit flying. All in all a good weekend down here. :)

We had a good day today!  First time hunting out of coffin blinds on our property and 3 of us shot 18 birds.  We had a flock of widgeon come in (50+) and we shot 5 out of that group.  One of my buddies forgot to reload and was not in on that action.  It was blowing so hard and you could almost watch the ice on the ponds grow.  I was constantly moving our decoy's and busting ice off of them.  No bands!  Lots of geese but no low flyers!
