Man lots of bucks!!! Shane I love your buck this year! Someday I will do a high country hunt. BH45 tell your wife congrats on both of those! I like that weather report 'overcast and bloody'. Timber stud buck! I have always wanted to hunt in the snow but never have got the opportunity. That must have been late buck.

The 4 point was shot in the timber at 18yrds still hunting..... The clearcuts had about 1 ft of snow that day.  The 3 pt was killed Dec 8th and it was 8 degrees out and walked up on him in the reprod with my grunt tube.

Minutes before dark about 20 degrees, 5 inches of snow and a mile and a half in from the main road, he was following some does through a thick clear cut, he switched trails started headin straight towards me but I couldn't see him all that well, didn't want to gut shoot him so I thought I see how far he was gonna head at me till I got a chance. well he trotted his way 6 feet in front of me, popped his head around this small fir and stopped dead in his tracks, he went down. Most exciting hunt I've had and I'm sure it will be hard to beat.
nice

Here ya go. Going from whitetails to blackies was quite a challenge.

My girlfriends buck she killed Sunday morning. Kind of a right place right time kind of thing. 180 yard shot and her good luck streak continues! We've been seeing plenty of deer just no bucks.

Here's my blacktail. I shot it with a 270 at about 30yards. It was 7:30 in the morning yesterday. He is a 5x5.
