Yes, I'm a plumber. Most of the bucks I find are from slowly hunting through the woods (old growth) but I wait at meadows and openings in the morning and evenings often. I sure hope I can get used to it deerhunter... I passed up quite a few "big" bucks to get the last two (past their prime) studs... Next year I'll probably focus more on Muleys.

Ya... It's high country.... No trails or roads for miles... Steepest country I can find. Got cougar problems though. Used to have a bear problem, but took care of it!

We are having serious cat problems around here as well. I can't believe all the sightings I have heard about, and I know of 4 killed just in the small group I know. Its getting out of control... I'm going to hit it hard calling this winter.

Yeah it was off a farm so they are well fed over there, the land ownder shot a 130lb doe  didn't see pics of it

  If you want any company this winter let me know. I would love to go out with somebody that knows what they are doing calling before I invest in a FoxPro or something like that myself. I live in Poulsbo so Shelton isn't that far for me, who knows, maybe between us we can drop a couple of them buggers!

My girlfriends buck she killed Sunday morning. Kind of a right place right time kind of thing. 180 yard shot and her good luck streak continues! We've been seeing plenty of deer just no bucks.

Here's my blacktail. I shot it with a 270 at about 30yards. It was 7:30 in the morning yesterday. He is a 5x5.
