Wa Bear in Huntin Fool
« on: October 15, 2014, 09:48:52 PM »
In the new Huntin Fool mag is a story with pics of a couple nice spring bear from the Blues. Luke (the fella who guides for free in the Blues) wrote the story. Thought it a little odd he would have a picture published nationally with a dead head bull in his pile of sheds :dunno: Nice bears though. nwhunter

Yes, thats Luke (the man who loves to hunt so much he will help people for free) He did me on my spring bear hunt this year. OUTSTANDING MAN and a great asset to anyone who knows him. Just because he has a dead head in his pile of sheds doesnt mean he took it so why even bring it up???

Weird thread. Seems like a jab to me. Don't know him personally, but he shares the same passion I do and is a hard core man of the mountains. Please enlighten us if there's more to the story.  :dunno:  $$$? :dunno:

Nothing more than a Jab imo.

This is actually the 3rd time he has been in Huntin Fool mag, and he deserves every one of them.

I'd like to hear what the author of this thread has to say, as he's a very credible man himself.

Luke took me on a bear hunt this spring as well ( for free) The guy is a hunting machine and one of the most stand up guys I have ever met. If it wasn't for having to work overtime this weekend I would be hunting with him right now. Damn it. This thread seems to have no intention other than a jab, and I can assure it's not deserved. Great article, great bears, and he was willing to share some kickass pics. No reason to stir the pot.

Maybe he doesn't know the law. It does happen...some people aren't aware of that law.

I've never heard that term. What is a dead head bull and/or what is the law regarding them?
