Is this him :)
That would be a 150-160 class buck.  Sweet buck Gman, any story and where is the rest of the deer? Is it already caped or did they just cut the head off?  That would be a shame if they didn't at least keep the cape.

you can find a buck like that in general any given day. Pretty typical buck. Quality tag deserves a little better than that. :twocents:

Which one?  The one on the log or on the jeep?

If you already have an idea of what you are looking for based on past experience you are way ahead of the game and definitely shoot the one that has the wow factor for you.  The one on the log is not something you would see everyday during the general season, that is a good buck for sure. The one on the jeep is a good buck also and you probably wouldn't see that everyday of the season either.  I would shoot either during general season.  With a special permit I might hold off on the one on the jeep.  Good luck.

i blame an old magazine called hunting fishing news for turning it in to a pumpkin  patch  some guy got i think late tag and shot a big buck and it was in there and following year trucks along roads everwhere

Wow, that is too bad.  Beautiful buck to bad it kind of went to waste. :( I assume someone tagged it so you could still keep the antlers.
