Unique Old Trap
« on: October 18, 2014, 04:18:08 PM »
Found this old foothold today. Thought someone might know something about it. Very unique springs. The pan reads "??? Lamb" I'm assuming Blake & Lamb but its not readable. "Hawkins Company South Britian, Conn"

Blake and Lamb double underspring. Have a couple like it in 2,3 and 4.

Any ideal what size this one is? Does it have any historic significance or are they very common?

I'm guessing a number 3 by glance but I am no expert.

They are fairly common. As for the size what is the measurement across the top?
