I've hunted F with mixed success. One thing I've learned is that public land is public land, Washington or Wyoming.

There's a huge ranch outside of Cody that allows the public to hunt, but you have to go through the hoops. Cody Chamber of Commerce should be able to help. Sorry, I last hunted there in 2009, so my info isn't real current.

Some years there are a LOT of deer, some years, not so many... And they know where they're safe.

Enjoy your hunt!

F is basically an OTC tag, we've had decent luck there but having a good friend who lives there and and pre scout a lot for us is what's made us successful. Good luck I hope you post your story up here successful or not.

I live in the area and it is hit and miss unfortunately this year is going to be a tough one. The EHD and long winter last year has taken its toll on the herd. Don't get me wrong there's still deer but not like passed years. I have seen a few good bucks out scouting in 122
Never to far, Just grab another minute!
