There's gotta be an airfield within 20 miles.
I spoke with a couple neighbors and they think they might know who it is... he launches from his property fairly often.
do you know what kind of range those things have?

I don't have a clue about ultralights. I know they seem to crash quite often.
I couldn't care less about what anybody says..............

One of those can lift off in 50 feet or less depending on the breeze.

I don't think a 10 gauge would be big enough.  :chuckle:
(Kidding of course, added for the Internet police)

There was an ultra-light buzzing waterfowl hunters in Stanwwod years back.

Lot of goose guns going off( 10 ga).

Poor ultra-light seemed to catch a round and had to land.

Last time we saw him.
It's not true that I am good for nothing---I can be used as a bad example!!

No shooting down ultralights. It wouldn't take much to bring one down and the person would likely die. I have a friend who went down in one and it wasn't pretty. Report to the cops. If he's legal, there's probably nothing you can do. He can say he was just out for a ride.

No way in hell i would fly anywhere in one of those. It loomed like a skydiver with a 4 foot fan strapped to his back!

You think he was harassing the deer? or just cruising around?
At least it was manned and not a drone. Maybe he was scouting  :o

I hunted with a buddy in the Desert unit about 15 years ago when one of those buzzed a big buck we were stalking, then just flew away waving.  We were pissed as well, but we spotted plenty of bucks that day, so we didn't pursue it.

No ultra lights for me. But I did have a guy decide to drive out to the spot I was hunting and fire off 15 rounds of 9MM. Came out, shot, and then got in the car and left. Not sure if he was testing a new gun or intentionally trying to spoil my hunt.
