Very good job with the shot, great footage and it was nice to see it mean so much to her.I don't know how you guys waited so long to go looking for it. I guess I am just afraid of the dark but there is no way I'd wait until pitch dark to stumble around

My wife reacts about the same way. I'd have been down in daylight tracking as well, maybe you wanted the other folks to be in on the recovery?

If we were to bump the deer it might have bolted and we would have never found it. Always better to give them more time to die than to rush it and possible loose the animal. Good lights and good blood it’s not that hard to track in the dark.
