Very nice! That's the kind of buck I was waiting for to come over the ridge on the last hour. He never showed though! Awesome job and everyone is right. That grin on your face lets us all know how much it was worth it.
My freezer is full of stories and memories!....said no hunter ever.

Good work. Hard to believe a buck like that can almost make it through rifle season. They have a way of surviving for sure, probably because most people would not have passed on the smaller ones. Great buck worth holding out for.

Thank you everyone very much! I really appreciate it. He was on private land. But the bucks never get to grow to this size, due to lots of pressure and other hunters. I kept getting trigger happy and wanting to harvest a buck every time I saw a legal one. but I kept telling myself to wait and hold out. And I got fortunate and got this beautiful guy.
