Good work. Hard to believe a buck like that can almost make it through rifle season. They have a way of surviving for sure, probably because most people would not have passed on the smaller ones. Great buck worth holding out for.

Thank you everyone very much! I really appreciate it. He was on private land. But the bucks never get to grow to this size, due to lots of pressure and other hunters. I kept getting trigger happy and wanting to harvest a buck every time I saw a legal one. but I kept telling myself to wait and hold out. And I got fortunate and got this beautiful guy.

Nice deer bud! Missed one the 18th that was a lot like him in unit 133. Glad y'all got him, he's a stud probably scores in the mid 170s, VERY NICE!
