I just remembered the old hand carved springboard I found in a huge cedar stump near Naselle back in the early 90s. I didn't grab it as I was chasing a herd of elk. Always planned to go back and get it, but never did.
Yesterday 100 feet off the Carrol Flats loop road. Any guesses what the hell took place there. The rubber glove was closes tight with a wire tie at the wrist.A good time for someone?
I always enjoy reading these threads and I'm amazed at some of the crazy stuff you all find. Only thing I ever found was a 2.5lb sledge hammer out in the middle of no where. I still have it and I've used it many times.I think somebody needs to start a thread about What have you lost while hunting.
nothing but tracks and poop for me. Saturday morning in the Colockum I heard a buck bugling about 200 yds in front of me down in the valley. Would have loved to take a shot BUT it was FOGGY as hell ever. We should have pursued the area but after sitting there for 3 hours and feeling like we had hypothermia, we decided to go back to camp for fire and breakfast. On the return trip, nothing but tracks again
