Used to know a guy who is no longer with us,he had a buck like that he shot in the same general area of colorado,for years it was the #1 safari club nontypical,It was killed in 1975 I think,Todd was 15 years old,had a massive 43 inch ouside spread and a 38 inch inside.I used to have a picture of the buck he called "Fred".My wife and I were talking a few weeks ago about what happend to Fred the deer after he passed.I'd say that area has some sporty genetics.
