WOW!!!! Awesome footage and a great buck. I love the rock throw technique, I thought I was the only hunter who used it! It's interesting to know that sometimes you have to take chances and matters into your own hands to secure a chance at a great buck. Well deserved trophy on what seemed like a tough hunt and super cool that you were able to get it all on film too.

Great video.  Hard to get rid of the old Switchback XT. Still shooting mine

It is a bit old and sluggish, but hard to get rid of a bow that shoots well and the price of a new one is ridiculous. I rarely shoot over 40 yards and average closer to 20-25, so I think the Switchback fits the bill. Thanks for watching and commenting.

Cool video . nice buck, you would think the buck would have fun down into cover if he was smart. But he ran up from where the rock hit.  :archery_smiley:

The rocks were landing below him, so he went the opposite direction. You never know how they are going to react. Seems like it takes more to get them moving than would think.

Sticking with the standard 3 blade 100 grain muzzy. Hard to change something that works and is affordable.
