Back from Idaho
« on: October 21, 2014, 11:03:24 PM »
Shot this good buck in the first 20 minutes of my hunt.  Tough to pass on a decent buck and gamble the non-resident costs.

Shot him through the heart at 70 yards as he was feeding with a smaller 4 point.

It was an excellent deer trip, and our camp also shot:  a very heavy 4 point (27 inch), an 5x4 (18 inch), and a four point with twin kickers (30 inch).

No elk, though.
