What's on your lanyard?
« on: October 23, 2014, 03:19:47 PM »
I've got 3 duck calls and a goose call on my lanyard.
1. RM Gold Digger --x cut hedge
2. Echo Meat Hanger--acrylic
3. Taylor Talker--acrylic
4. Hayes goose call with broke in guts--cocobolo.
Duck calls are all protected by call cozy's.

One that quacks and one that honks.....  I think they are both old Faulks that I have used since high school 30+ years ago.

I used a DU freebie acrylic last year for a while.  I would like to learn how to use a goose flute though.

I have too many but I rotate through them and have noticed the ducks respond to different calls on different days.

i usually pack a goose call, a duck call, and a whistle.  currently i've been using a RNT daisy cutter duck call, and a field proven matrix short reed goose call.

i mostly hunt nisqually so i don't do a lot of calling, lots of experts out there on any given day :chuckle:
you can still get gas in heaven, and a drink in kingdom come,
in the meantime, i'll be cleaning my gun

Call cozy is a neoprene cover you can pull over your calls to keep them from getting nicked or dinged.

Jimbo: "That's right, Stanley. Animals are much easier to shoot in the morning."

Cut em!
It's not the shells!  It's the shooter!

I was going to say, everyone I see duck hunting has like 20 calls rattling around on their chest.
Kindly do not attempt to cloud the issue with too many facts.
