2014 Deer Season so Far!
« on: October 24, 2014, 09:10:39 AM »
My WA Mule Deer hunt and our recent Idaho trip were my Dad and my son hunted with me.

My Dad had an area 11 Mule Deer tag and scored a nice buck and I filled my whitetail tag. My son was able to tag along with us on both hunts which is always a bonus.

I'm apparently becoming a sentimental old fart.   Your photos stirred some good emotions.   Those are particularly good family success pics.  THanks for sharing

Thanks guys. Its been a great year so far and I still have MT hunt to look forward to mid NOV.

I too really appreciate the experience of having my son and father with me on this hunt. My Dad taught me to hunt in ID and thats the sole reason why I am doing it today. At a young age I found a passion for the outdoors, hunting, fishing, physical challenges. I am now working hard to pass that onto my two boys and keep my Dad healthy enough to keep doing it with us for years to come!

Congratulations!!!!! It is wonderful to see you share the outdoors with the future of our heritage. Give yourself a pat on the back. My boy is 7 and goes with dad whenever he gets the chance. I would have to say kids are good luck as well. Nice job! :)

Can't ask for a better season than that.  Think your son will be well rounded in the hunting world at a very young age.
