yes it's about 3/4" thick there, I hunted a decent hole though. These warm spells bring the ducks back into the valley.

3 man limit from today. Had to shoot hens because birds didn't want to finish well. Still a good shoot.

Yep. Went out Saturday not expecting much and was greeted to probably 500 birds at my spot and thousands of birds in the area. Could have shot my limit quickly but sat back and watched the show and only shot birds committed in my decoys. Of course, Sunday when others came with me was much different. Didn't help we had jack wagons show up at shooting light, sky busting and walking around all morning.  :bash:
