Son gets his buck today
« on: October 26, 2014, 06:15:56 PM »
Good day today.  My 10yr old son scores a nice blacktail today.  Was a super proud dad today.  He made a great 125-150 yard shot through the timber.  Waited until it stopped in just the right spot and dropped the hammer.  Perfect heart shot.  We're not many shooting lanes in that stuff .  Sorry to ramble on but if you are a dad you probably understand

That's great, and certainly was not rambling, at least compared to where my story would be.   :chuckle:

Wow, nice buck and shot! But tell him next time not to shred the heart so much, it's one of my favorite pcs of deer to eat...

Congrats to the kid. That's great stuff.
