The Rock river 6.8 buck
« on: October 27, 2014, 02:24:17 PM »
My sons buck taken last night 20 minutes left of shooting light left . Was trying to get to a certan spot that I wanted . We seen a spike there last Sunday . Just before dark. In did up on the wrong road came to a big open area that was cleared of scotch broom this summer and grass planted this year . It had a upper and lower area coming down the lower area looking at the timber line. He said deer I look and said big buck we jump out he pulls op on the deer and boom off goes the gun opps light trigger still standing their . I pull up boom he shoots again. Miss I just start to squeeze my trigger and boom he shoots again drop it in his tracks . We high five each other. Jump in the truck and drive to the deer . I couldn't be leave it a big 4 x 4 with one I gard 20" wide    Out off all the big black tails we have taken this is the first true 4 x4 that we ever gotten. One proud father last night. And one happy son
