I have an Uncle Mikes Nylon for my Ruger Redhawk .44 mag.  Love it for carrying in the field.  Holds no water, and the cold or heat does not bother it.

I have leather paddle type holsters for all my concealed carry.
By my honorable conduct as a hunter let me give a good example and teach new hunters principles of honor, so that each new generation can show respect for their god, other hunters and the animals, and enjoy the dignity of the hunt.

For field carry soft leather is the only thing quiet enough for me. I'm still looking for a goos concealed holster for my 642.

When I had my Saddle Shop I had a lot of people come in with kydex, nylon hosters and them repaired, or had new leather ones made. If you buy a good quality leather holster it will last the rest of your life. I probably made 500 or so.

Only leather holsters for me both for field and concealed carry, have a couple of Galco and a couple of Bianchi.  Both are good.
I didn't say it was your fault, I said I was blaming you.
If I ageed with you, then we'd both be wrong.

Uncle mikes nylon for the reasons listed above.
Cheap, low maintenance and reliable.

Black Hawk Serpa no question.

I was looking at them the other day, I like the locking system it has. Are they comfortable?

I like leather. No reason other than the way it looks. I have a Bianchis for my CZ75 and Kimber and a Galco for my little sw642. I hate the plastic ones only because they're ugly. I do have a nylon Uncle Mike shoulder holster for my .44 and CZ but they suck. The little belt strap buttons tear out of the straps and they wont stay adjusted. I will never buy another Uncle Mikes product again.
