Big Blacktails
« on: October 24, 2014, 10:22:26 PM »
The big blacktails are starting to move around. This morning my chiropractors son texted him as he was working on me and sent a picture of a beautiful 3x3 he'd just shot near Ocean Shores. (Not a town buck) So as soon as he'd fixed me up, he headed out to help his son retrieve his buck.

Yesterday, my uncle showed me pictures of a huge 4x3 his son in law took in his yard near Tenino. Not only was the rack impressive, but the body was huge.

Time to start looking for the big boys.

Just curious, what general area are you talking about? I'm just starting to hit the woods this week and just curious if it may be somewhere around where I usually go...
