The ruger single six and Mk II are good. With the revolver you can even get a spare cylinder for .22 mag.

He suggested the Ruger SR22 over any of the others that were in its class, like the Sig or Walther, because they seem to reliably eat anything they feed it. I ended up buying neither.
So, I am in the market for a .22LR pistol. What you recommend? Thanks

I used to be of the same opinion, but recently got on YouTube and found a video showing the disassembly AND reassembly of the Ruger. It's a piece of cake! I took mine apart and cleaned it for the first time in 18 years. Sure would've been nice if Ruger had included that one critical bit of information on how to get the gun back together after taking it apart!
