.22LR Pistol

I own an SR22.  Love that gun but hate the trigger because it has an unacceptably long travel and a heavy pull.  One of these days I'm going to ask for advice on how to fix/replace that trigger for something light and crisp.

That's exactly why I wanted one, lots of ammo to shoot up    about 5k rounds that is getting old.

Dang too late. But I want real bad a Volquartsen Scorpion. Test are showing it is as accurate as very good 22 rifles. But it is pricy. And that's at 100 yards.

BTW, I will never disassemble a Ruger again! I'll just spray it clean. 

I used to be of the same opinion, but recently got on YouTube and found a video showing the disassembly AND reassembly of the Ruger. It's a piece of cake! I took mine apart and cleaned it for the first time in 18 years. Sure would've been nice if Ruger had included that one critical bit of information on how to get the gun back together after taking it apart!

Ohhh, I'm sure there's been many of these  moments and I know I lost a few years off my life the first time I took mine apart and tried to put them back together.  The hell of it, is the little manual that comes with those dang things doesn't tell you ya damn near need to stand on your head and reassemble the thing upside down. 

But, bobcat is right, after you learn the little tricks on how to catch that little hook for the mainspring to have tension and work properly, it makes life soooooooooo much easier and I no longer wake up in cold sweats caused from nightmares of assembling a Ruger Mk 22...

You'll love the buckmark. I have an older one that I bought on a whim......I sold off my ruger target because the buckmark and I get along so well.
