Why would you want to shoot a button buck. Thats not teaching your kids good game management. I know you want them to be successful but hunting isn't just about going out and killing something. Personally I would feel sick if I shot a button buck. What a waste. You would get like 25 lbs of meat maybe. I dont know how you could consider shooting one on purpose knowingly. If you werent experienced and had a doe tag and it was by itself and you shot it thinking it was a doe then ok. But come on....

He was a lot bigger than her and probably weighed 150 lbs on the hoof.
