My "not so perfect" peaches bull
«

First off, i want to thank everyone on this site who helped me prepare for this hunt.We have some very selfless people on this site. I tried to pay Rt back for the map he sent me in the mail but he kept telling me not to worry about it. Yoterhunter met me over there and showed me a few more spots driving around in his truck. I had to practically beg him to let me pay for his gas. The first week I passed up some nice 5 points and a really nice 5x6. I regret not shooting that one now but I really wanted a perfect 6x6. I did have two encounters with a couple mashers in the timber, but just couldn't get a shot off fast enough. I should have stuck with one area but I was jumping around the unit like a fart in a skillet. Once the spike season began I was not having a lot of luck finding many bulls. Tuesday the 28th was my last day to hunt. I had to get back home to take care of some business. So I told my dad whatever I seen that day was going down. I didn't want to go home empty handed. I went back to one of the spots I had seen one of the mashers and this guy came by me at about 50 yds. It's not the bull I've been dreaming about all summmer but he is quite unique. All in all i had a great time.

How do you measure trying, you do, or you don’t.

That's really a unique trophy that I would love to have. Of course I've never killed an elk, been really close a few times. Muley's are my passion though and the kids can hunt them with me.

Great bull, Congrats. I personally like a little uniqueness and funk in a set of antlers.
Anyone seen that Hoyt commercial? I would take Freaknasty without a second thought..
