Ok what is this?
« on: December 15, 2008, 09:07:26 PM »
I pulled the camera card and I'm not sure what this is. Look at the pic of the bear that walked by just after it and notice the time. I,v never gotten another pic of what ever this is again......

I would say it was another bear (cub?) that was nosing around the cam and it is the bears left ear in the photo.

Im gonna say all three pics same animal.  The sun light is just hitting it at a different angle. In the first pic you can see a little brown on the top right of the bear where the sun hits it, the second the sun is directly on the right side, and in the third you can also see the brown on the top right of the bear.

But was the picture taken on June 30 like the camera says? is it in a spring permit area? was it on a trail, or over bait?

The body shot reminds me of a puppy dog frame. My guess, probably bear.

It's gotta be a liger, just gotta be.  What the @#%K is a chubacabra? haha,  if it was a bear it was going thru a wicked cool color phase.

the date is correct, I have Lot's of pic's of the black bear through out the year but never saw that other thing again. thanks for all your input and thoughts, it's been driving me nuts not knowing. ( even though I still really don't know, atleast it's narrowed down a bit.)
