what waders do you have?

The 1600 gram does get hot on the hikes in sometimes. But last year hunted with 600 gram waders and said never again will I be this cold. If you do go with the drakes they run a size big.

Darned if I know. I don't miss a weekend and many times I hunt both days plus all the holidays. Gotta be a good number.

I only ask cause I never get 20 hints out of a pair until the USIA waders. I was buying or replacing 3 or 4 pairs a year.

Those USIA waders look like pants? No boot attached by the pics. Is that correct? How do your feet stay dry/warm like that?

That doesn't tell  me anything. From the pics on their website, boots are separate from the pants part of the wader meaning water is going to get to your lower and maybe upper legs if standing in deep water long enough and for sure your feet are going to get wet and cold and being wet all day is certainly not good for them.

No, there are boots attached to all waders, unless you ask for booties.

Servus dive boots are the standard, Bogs are an $85 upgrade. I ran the dive boots at the start (before they offered Bogs) they real suck if your walking in them.

Sorry for all the question but I think next year I will be getting new waders. What upgrades did you get from the standard? I noticed they had quite a few. Any one you would of got now after having them for a while?

No problem. I added a large zippered pocket on the chest. It is a great addition. I might consider the waterproof thigh pockets also. I had major measurement changes. My waders come clear up to my neck, at my size that's awesome.

If you go the USIA route, don't skimp. If there is an option you want get it. It may cost a chunk of change, but lifetime warranty means these custom waders are the last you will own.

The guys I know using them have yet to have a problem. That's saying a lot. I'm not far from the factory, lots of guys here have them.

They are not quite. There is no comparison heat wise, neoprene is much warmer.

If you layer right there is no longer any need for neoprene.

Edit: I have no worn neoprene in years. Regardless of location or temp.
