Dads first elk!
« on: October 31, 2014, 09:42:40 AM »
Dad finally got his first elk! He's been hunting the East side a long time trying to get it... was drawn for a big bull permit just once in many years of putting in.. (unlucky!) Although he didn't get drawn for a big bull permit again this year, he was able to harvest his first bull! A nice spike! I couldn't be any happier for him!

Sometimes spikes are the hardest to get because you have to make sure what it is before you shoot. Congrats. to your dad.
