Its highly embarrassing and a shame. If it keeps up hunting on public land will be a thing of the past quicker than we think.

:yeah: completely agree. Our failure as a group to "police our own" will be a contributing factor when the non hunting majority takes a major swipe at our way of life.

Let's not be so quick to put it all on hunters , plenty of general slobs and druggies... :bash:

I saw a piece of white paper in the middle of the road and was going to pick it up until I noticed it was on a pile of dookie.  In the middle of the road.

I agree with you mfswallace that some of the blame rests with non-hunters, but I spend a lot of time in the woods and I know which group I see causing problems the most.

On the bright side, I haven't noticed a problem in the area of the Nanuem we hunt.  :dunno: Although we are in an area with multiple established long term camps. :dunno:
.....Except the deuce in the middle of the road, happens every year!

I see the same thing, hiking back into the woods, hunters are the only ones leaving beer cans and trash. I dont get why they can't take it with them but def why the tree farms control access.I can't wait for ppl to wreck on the atv. Accidents are the only way stupid ppl will thin themselves out of the herd

Its no wonder private timber companies are limiting access, I can see the same thing in the future for public lands if these type of behaviors continue.

Unfortunately you can almost be guaranteed that some of the same people complaining about access to private timber company lands are the ones leaving all their camp trash in the woods. It's a sad state of affairs.
:yeah:
