Sitka Gear pants
« on: November 01, 2014, 05:50:20 PM »
Anyone use Sitka gear and fell like you could recommend them?  I have their Downpour pants but am looking for something for dry days during the early archery season and right before it starts to rain a lot.

I like the Forest optifade which is why I was thinking Sitka.  I would do their open country too.

I saw the whitetail EWS pants today at the basspro shop.  Looked to be a good early season pant but didn't quite get the funky gaiter thing.

Any thoughts?

I have sitka ascent pants and mountain pants. I love them. The ascents are what you'd want for the early season.

Ascents or Mountains make very good early season gear.  Layered underneath and you can get away with some cold weather but cold/wind combo won't be your friend.
