Successfull camp!
« on: November 02, 2014, 06:15:12 PM »
Well we only went 1-7 but we still considered it a successful camp my cousins boy shot his first elk at 14 he was super excited his dad shot first and his gun jammed so it was all up to him and he didn't dissapoint missed his first shot then mowed him down with the second. Had a cow tag but didn't see any cows so he punched his tag on a dandy spike. Talked to a guy who drove by our camp about 4:15 while we were all out hunting and wouldn't you know it there were three cows across the road from camp just grazing away. Shoulda stayed in camp and not hiked five miles I guess oh well great season no matter what
