Great bull! Way to stick with it.  Was any of the meat salvageable?

The meat smells a little sour, we'll find out Saturday when I cut it up. The snow all melted Sunday. It poured almost everyday.

Congrats on a amazing bull elk and working hard after the shot to be absolutely sure that your shot did find it mark!  Amazing story of the hunt and staying focused till our trophy was recovered.

Good on you for hauling it out.  It's definitely on the border (especially the down side). Congrats on a tremendous bull.

Congrats on a great bull. I love seeing Lester in that second pic. He's one of my favorite people on the planet. My mom, Marlene, was giving me the breakdown on how you guys were doing. I was glad to hear you found your bull. The color on those antlers is hard to beat. Congrats again, like what was mentioned earlier, you and your family have had one heck of a great season!
