300 blk

Has anyone hunted with a .300 blackout yet? And what are your thoughts? In Washington state would you use it for elk?
The beauty of the Second Amendment is that it will not be needed until they try to take it.

If you stand for nothing, you will fall for anything.

Personally, I would not use it for elk, deer, yes but not elk, and I would stay away from long range shots too  :twocents:

I've shot a couple of hogs with mine.
It does the trick on them. Think of it as a lite 30-30 for power/ energy. I wouldn't use it on elk but if it's all you have and you pick and choose your shot, a bullet through the lungs will get it done.
