Heard from a pretty reliable source that Karo syrup is a good additive / attractant
Apparently salmon entering the river systems are attracted to sugary/sweet as a way of flushing the salt from their systems

Strawberry/Raspberry Jello...Caught many Upriver Brights with Borax and jello cured eggs. We bought and cured 25pound cases from a dealer that got the rejects that the Japanese buyers said did not meet their standards for Suegaco--sp.? They would eat them raw.
Thanks for all for your past support...We officially pulled the plug and have retired from the Biz. Still dabble a little in real estate.

Salmon can be really reactive too all kinds of suger, jello, garlic, sulfites ect. I like to have a couple different recipes, and add garlic powder, sulfites, tuna oil as I go on the river. But start basic, and if the fish are there but not biting then experiment a little as you go.
