I shot one at Archery World yesterday and they're an amazing bow. The release is dead quiet and there's almost no shock at all. If I thought i could skip two mortgage payments, I'd buy one. Yes, I have a fairly low mortgage payment. The tag on the bow as for $1,099.

If you are going to skip two mortgage payments why not skip a third and get that Ugly Hoyt you've been talking about for five years :chuckle:

Maybe I should go pick one up from Joe today and take it to WI for my Whitetail hunt.  If not for my hatred of cross over cable systems I would probably do that.  Just not sure I can get my brain to concentrate on the target when I see that visual annoyance!  Those first Binary cross overs were so crazy annoying...I've hated crossovers ever since.  Even though they did work.  I'll see if I can talk myself into one by the time I leave on Sunday ;)

Ive learned to wait a year then find em on ebay or AT for 40% off lol. Bow prices have gotten out of control. I also like getting a years worth of reviews and opinions before buying.

I've learned to shoot a mid-range bow until it disintegrates and they send me a new one for free. It's not sexy, but I learned that when I shoot correctly, they still kill animals.  :dunno:

Until Bowtech released the Experience my favorite bows were almost always in that $499 to $699 price range.  Even when I got bows for free I usually chose the mid range bows.  More often than not they are the easier bows to shoot with the least amount of problems.  350 and 360 sound great, but dead animal pictures make me feel much better than winning an internet wiener measuring contest  :tung:  PLus I have more money left over to pay those big taxidermy bills   :chuckle:

There's no question in my mind that Mathews bow should be in my hands. But, after the wife lost her job, mid-range will suffice. After all, I have to save our money for a the prepper chit we need for the flu/ebola season.

Hey my old Jennings, Alpine, Hoyt were all capable of killing animals and some actually did. Like anything else technology changes so fast and everyone wants to keep up with the Johnsons :chuckle: Unfortunately the archery market along with the majority of other hunting related items has taken a gigantic leap and is catered more to the wealthy not us average tax paying americans :chuckle: Now get back to work! There is someone on welfare depending on you!

:yeah:  I shoot a $400 Bear.  It's killed everything I've cut it loose on the past two years
Kindly do not attempt to cloud the issue with too many facts.

Just shot one yesterday. The only thing I didn't like was the draw cycle and a soft wall and is heavy .And new for this year is a bigger price tag.Dont think I'm a hater I've had many Mathews bows and really regret selling my Switchback xt. In my opinion they were caught and passed 4 years ago and serviving off the name. Kinda sad for Mathews I think they forgot who made them what they were now they even sell them in box stores.Remember when PSE did that.I hope they get it togather.

Drenalin was probably the biggest advertising campaign for Hoyt ever.  So many Mathews guys I know made the switch to Hoyt during the Drenalin years.  Very few ever went back!
Thats me... :hello:
