Catherine Creek Bull Elk
« on: November 06, 2014, 05:02:10 PM »
Here's some pictures of a nice bull that was shot outside of La Grande in the Catherine Creek Unit. Unfortunately, the meat was ruined because of an wound from what we guess was a bad arrow shot during archery. This was her first ever bull, so she started out with a great bull!

Super nice bull, and an awesome first bull!

Too bad about the meat, look like he had a fever. :dunno:

Holy whale tails... That's a great looking bull!....the meat from the whole bull was ruined? He looks like he was in rough shape.
She did him a favor.

Fantastic bull, congratulations!

How could a bad arrow wound from a couple months ago ruin all the meat?  I've never heard of such a thing.  Would really like details on what you think caused that if you are comfortable posting those.
He asked, Do you ever give a short simple answer?  I replied, "Nope."
