Now that's one hekc of a nice blackie  :yike:
"When my bow falls, so shall the world. When me heart ceases to pump blood to my body, it will all come crashing down. As a hunter, we are bound by duty, nay, bound by our very soul to this world. When a hunter dies we feel it, we sense it, and the world trembles with sorrow. When I die, so shall the world, from the shock of loosing such a great part of ones soul." Ezekiel, Okeanos Hunter

So it looks like maybe what you did is lure him into your field with some apples, then close the gate behind him when he wasn't looking. That's some advanced strategy you're using....I mean, I'll bet Boyd Iverson never thought of that! Seriously, I hope you score on that big fella 'cause I'd love to see the mount.

Sorry but you will never see BH45 using apples to kill anything...These deer only come down to the low lands during the rut ..where you see them is where you see them and I know he may be gone before late archery starts at the end of November but he has me shooting my bow every evening  :archery_smiley:

Again, I hope you take him, and you know I was kidding about the apples and trapping him in your field for a month.
