good yote areas?
« on: December 02, 2014, 08:07:20 PM »
Hey guys, just getting into yote hunting and looking for a good area to go to. I live in Mason Co. willing to travel as far north as Port Gamble and as far south as Tacoma (and mason area) If anyone has any ideas I'd appreciate it !  :)

You live in an area with lots of state land open to hunting. You will want to do a lot of scouting, get a map, gas up the truck and explore. This site will be a good source for information. Are you military or former military?

I hunt Mason County a lot for coyotes, would be happy to show you some areas. If you are scouting deer areas you are already in coyote areas. PM me if you want, always happy to assist a service member.

It doesn't really matter what counties in washington you are in to hunt coyotes. If you can find basically any areas, preferably fields, with birds, mice, scat, and deer, chances are that there will be coyotes in that area.
