How many wolves are we up to as being shot this hunting season? I wonder if this one was.If that is found to happen enough I won't be surprised to see the state limit hunting in several areas in future years.

Being a wolf in the wild is dangerous business. Moose aren't easy prey one kick would/could leave a wolf crippled up for life. I say the odds are greatly in favor of this wolf being hurt doing wolf things than being shot...and living the shot long enough to be a cripple instead of dying of infection.

They just breed and breed and breed and never die. Once they've eaten every deer and elk they subsist on air alone, they are that super, they literally eat the air.(you're right, I am jumping to a conclusion there, both elk and moose can seriously @#$% up a wolf's day)
He (?) has been gimping for a while now, since August. Probably a hunting or fighting injury
