Has anyone hunted with a .300 blackout yet? And what are your thoughts? In Washington state would you use it for elk?

Personally, I would not use it for elk, deer, yes but not elk, and I would stay away from long range shots too

I've shot a couple of hogs with mine.
It does the trick on them. Think of it as a lite 30-30 for power/ energy. I wouldn't use it on elk but if it's all you have and you pick and choose your shot, a bullet through the lungs will get it done.

No on elk. Deer on closer range shots sure
