Looking to purchase a dog
« on: November 11, 2014, 10:06:59 PM »
Looking for a female chocolate lab pup. Have decided it is time to fill the void after 6 months of missing our black lab. Anyone aware of where I might find one?

I don't plan on hunting with her, but will be wanting trained not to be gun shy around target shooting. I vaguely recall someone mentioning about dogs that didn't really fit the bill for what ever reason. She will be my wife's protection while I'm away as well the grandkids playmate when they visit. Not sure what $ amount I should have for a budget but I know I don't want to break the bank either.

Location isn't a concern for us as we're in need of a night away from home anyways. So boarder to boarder

be careful where you get your chocolate. There are some real horror story puppy breeders in Washington that advertise they have "the best" very heavily.

Call Lee Salmon to start with. Otherwise, a local good chocolate litter is going to be rare.

:yeah:
I have one of Lee's pups and so far, he's working out just fine.
Spent most of my $$ on huntin, fishin & retrievin dogs, the rest I just pretty much wasted.
