Boy whats up with this season
« on: November 12, 2014, 09:37:04 AM »
Man it has been a hard season so far.  One weekend see tons of birds and the next weekend see nothing at all.  Very frustrating start to the season.  Maybe the cold weather will help.

Where have you tried? I think it has been good so far but I haven't been out since Sunday. We got 2 each and were outsmarted by many others.

I hunt down by Tekoa, WA.  It has been hit or miss but when we hit it is 2 or 3 but when we miss we don't see anything.  I have had seasons like this in the past.

I do not think a lot of birds are here yet.

Not seeing them around the inland fields likepast years.

The cold might help.

The pheasants don't migrate in from someplace like ducks. They are here year round. The numbers go down from hunting and predators but not up.
