I've never paid that much attention to Geissele triggers until I just looked up the model you mentioned. I think I'm going to give it a try here soon. I like the first stage pull weight and the second. How does that second stage break?

2nd stage breaks crisp . I like the flat trigger. Makes the weight feel less then it is.

I have never done very well with flat triggers and sold the 2 that I had.

So for you guys that are pushing the limits on tiny little groups of holes at long distance... these 50-100$ triggers can get the job done? You dont have to spend $250 on the super ninja like models??

I belive the CMC triggers can be put in either the ar15 or AR10 platforms.

I did a search a couple of years ago and found a site that showed how to do a trigger job on an AR for no money. I worked on my AR 10 and it made a heck of an improvement.  Its probably not as good as a single stage drop in trigger, but it's better then the OE trigger.

BTW whats the deal with 2 stage triggers, for hundreds of years the norm was a single stage triggers on sporting guns. I see no advantage to a 2 stage trigger.

I run 2 RRA stage triggers in my carbine rifles but I am a firm believer in the Jard single stage triggers as well.  If you want a very light trigger 1/2-3 pound trigger for those longer shots, you can accomplish this using the jard triggers by simply purchasing the 4 pound trigger package, and simply purchasing the lower weight spring.
