12 year olds big blacktail

My son passed on a few spikes this year and he was very happy that he did. He got this at the end of the regular season.

 Great first buck! My sons first buck was a 4 pt at 12 yrs old as well. He shot a 2 pt this year and was just as excited. Tell the young man congrats!

Yes this was a local buck.  He was using a Remington youth model 7, 7mm-08 it is the fourth deer he has got with this gun and he shot a bear with it this year as well.  I think it is a great youth gun. His big brother has one as well and it has served him well. He took the lead for the biggest black tail in the family beating out dad and two older brothers!

He's shot four deer with that gun so he's been hunting since he was eight??  And been successful every year? Wow
