Am I wrong? Please tell me I am.I think it is a mix. Rifle seems to have some good special permits and good blacktail seasons. Bow and muzzy seem to have the elk--can shoot cows and early season is closer to the rut and late seasons closer to the migrations. I only bow hunt, so I'm hoping I'll still be able to do a lot of that in Washington. The archery season seem to be short from what I've noticed. The regulations, tags, permits and land access are overwhelming.

The regulations, tags, permits and land access are overwhelming. You can use bow and arrow in any of the seasons (ex: during muzzle loader or rifle). Can even get a multiseason permit and use the bow in all in the same year. Just have to wear orange if you go in rifle. The other weapons aren't allowed in bow, and rifle isn't allowed in muzzy. So, if season timing seems better for a different weapon, just go that season with your bow.
