Well just got back from a 3 day hunting trip and have a lot more knowledge of how to hunt grouse(lots of trial and heaps of error!). I had several birds flush for me, but not in the direction I had hoped for
the most valuable lesson well one of two, I need to invest in a good bird dog lol. Which I plan on doing in the very near futuer! And the second lesson was : even though you are reliving natures call you still might want to have your shotgun handy incase one of the feathered devils want to sit on a log 20 feet from you and laugh
can't wait to do it again! I'm defiantly hooked!
