Is Kuiu better than Sitka?
Quote from: Bean Counter on November 24, 2014, 07:38:27 PMIs Kuiu better than Sitka? I have both and prefer Kuiu. They are both quality clothing, but to me, Kuiu is better. DISCLAIMER: I think everyone should understand that both of these companies make clothing for mountain hunters that need performance clothing at a low weight. This type of clothing may not be suitable for all styles of hunting.
I haven't bought any new Kuiu gear in a few years as mine has held out great. Is it still made in Canada or is it made overseas now?MS
Do the clothes come with a good warranty and replacement ? One of the above posters mentioned that rough terrain tore up his pants. Does KUIU repair or replace?

Does KUIU repair or replace? Not that I'm aware of, but their clothing is surprisingly durable. My first piece of Kuiu gear is a pair of Attack Pants that I got for Father's Day, three seasons ago. They are my favorite piece of hunting clothing I own, and I've worn them on every hunt and scouting trip since I got them. Not to mention countless training hikes. The lower part of the legs are pulled from busting brush without gaiters, and there is one small burn hole from a camp fire ember, otherwise they are still going strong.
